PAYER REPORT CARDS

Is your best-paying insurer really your best?

A higher contract rate tells only part of the story. See how Insight Rev IQ brings payment records and contract review questions together, then explains what they mean for practice leadership.

No form required. Client name withheld; anesthesia-specific measures explained.

Founded by Kim Abrams, with more than 20 years in healthcare operations, revenue performance and payer strategy.

The higher rate is the start of the conversation.

In this sample, Plan A has a higher listed physician rate and a greater share of incidents flagged for contract appeal. Plan B has more individual cases to follow up. Leadership needs both views before deciding where to focus.

What the sample establishes, and what it does not.

A real service example

The PDF is the approved report from an anesthesia practice, with the client name withheld. Anesthesia uses units; other specialties need measures suited to their services.

Review signals

Appeal flags require validation against contracts and remittances. An unpaid incident is not automatically overdue. The plans have unequal claim maturity.

An honest limitation

Administrative cost has not been measured in this sample. It does not establish which payer produces the better net return. Staff time and fees would need to be evaluated.

HOW WE WORK

From existing records to an informed decision.

01 · Agree on the review

Start with your concerns. Define scope, records, data access, responsibilities, review schedule and fees.

02 · Connect and validate

Work with reports and exports from your existing systems. Check definitions and comparable periods; identify gaps.

03 · Explain the findings

An experienced team reviews the analysis and explains the evidence, potential significance and limits in plain language.

04 · Follow the priorities

Leadership assigns action to the practice, billing team or advisors. Ongoing reviews revisit ownership and progress.

See the work before you contact us.

Review our published anesthesia Payer Report Card, with the client name withheld. The sample preserves the report’s data and layout. Its findings illustrate a review, not a promised result for another practice.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE WORK

Know who you are working with.

Insight Rev IQ was founded by Kim Abrams to give independent practices clearer revenue information and experienced executive interpretation. You can review our team, service details and educational articles before deciding whether to speak with us.

A few practical questions.

What does a Payer Report Card include?

The agreed scope can connect reimbursement, payment timing, denials and administrative workload. Available records determine what we can measure. We identify missing information and distinguish measured results from estimates.

Does the sample represent my specialty?

It demonstrates the analysis using anesthesia data. Your measures and interpretation would reflect your specialty, services, payer agreements and available records.

Can our billing company use the findings?

Yes. The findings equip practice leadership and the responsible billing team or advisors to investigate and act. Rev IQ’s core service supplies analysis, guidance and oversight; it does not replace routine billing.
